Beach & Barnicott is a beautiful grade II listed Bar and Restaurant in the centre of Bridport. It is a welcoming Georgian house with many rooms, on three floors, beautifully decorated in 18th Century style with original antique furnishings, all atmospherically lit with dozens of candles. Open all day from 10am. Serving freshly made Beliniano coffee, excellent teas and hot chocolate. Draught lagers and ales, bottled beers, wines and spirits. From 1766 to 1834 Beach and Barnicott ran a pharmacy on these premises, they were the successors to Doctor Giles L Roberts who was famous for his 'cure-all' tonic The Poor Man's Friend.
